"Till the end of the line, I’d be with you"
I was always the desolated
Struggling, bowing
Till you appeared by chance
You gave me a place
An unspeakable joviality, something
I’d never felt before
Dusk till dawn we were inseparable, one.
The days flew by and you grew distant
You began rejecting me, shutting me out.
Is it my fault?
You’d look away and deny it
But I can feel your dubiety
The flowers of souls and the fruits of solitary
Now in full bloom
This is something I’ve felt before
But its painfully bitter
Should we part ways?
Now I'm being washed ashore
The battered raft of friendship shall sink too.
Even though I had once swore
“Till the end of the line, I’d be with you.”
